Another Boring NBA Season Ends

I'll just repost my blog entry from the end of 2010 NBA season.
The NBA regular season is finally over...  Yawn.
The Wolves win a whopping 17 games, next closest team in the division Utah won 39 games.
This is really messed up and it is not all due bad management. The NBA commissioner still has a grudge against the Wolves for the Joe Smith deal.  It should not take 20 years for a team to build a winning franchise. The lottery system is completely broken and the NBA refuses to fix it.The NBA is boring, overpriced, and overexposed....  And fake.

I'll come back and complain about the NBA next season.

Boycott the NBA

Money mouth

Lebron goes to Miami.

Another move that says screw the fans it's about the individual players and a small group of team owners.  David Stern and the NBA cater to a select handful of teams and cities like Miami, Los Angeles, Boston, Chicago, Phoenix while the rest of the league wallows through miserable season after miserably long season.  NBA fans need to wake up and start showing their dissatisfaction with a league that is extremely slow to change when it comes to parity.  The cost of tickets is too expensive to have to wait three or four decades to get the mythical first ping pong ball.  The lottery is rigged and so is the NBA.

It is time for fans in the fly over cities to stop spending any money on the NBA so the league topples like the house of cards that it is.

BOYCOTT THE NBA!

The NBA Draft Lottery Must End!!!

May 2010 - Once again the NBA draft lottery system shows why it is a complete failure.  Why do NBA teams and fans allow this system to continue?  There is no good reason why the Nets do not have the #1 pick and the Timberwolves have the #2 pick...  Oh yeah, the NBA has the lottery in place so teams do not tank it at the end of the season in order to get the first pick.  What about teams that continue to suck year after year because they do not get superstar talent from the draft??  Mr. Basket Ball commissioner have you ever tried to sit through a game at an arena with a losing franchise.  The NBA is fixed, do not support this sport with your money.
